MFIP usually expands to Mid-Frequency Interval Pulse: an intermittent pattern of electrical output used in some cosmetic devices to create a rhythmic tapping sensation. It is a mode name, not a complete technical specification.

How it works

Mechanism before marketing.

In patent and manufacturer descriptions, MFIP repeatedly starts and stops an electrical pulse rather than delivering it continuously. Some systems combine more than one current component, such as an insertion-style pulse, EMS, and medium- or high-frequency current. That combination is specific to the device design.

MFIP and EMS can overlap, but they are not synonyms. EMS describes electrical stimulation intended to produce muscle activity. MFIP describes an intermittent delivery pattern and may include EMS alongside other pulse components.

    The supplied KONKA materials identify an MFIP mode, so the site can describe rhythmic electrical stimulation during contact. They do not supply the waveform, current, voltage under load, pulse width, duty cycle, or electrode current density needed to compare it with a tested protocol.

    The letters MFIP do not by themselves prove collagen production, deeper skincare delivery, RF output, ultrasound, lifting, or a particular treatment depth. Those claims require product-specific measurements and suitable testing.

    • Use a compatible water-based conductive product and maintain even contact with the treatment head.
    • Begin at the lowest comfortable level. A stronger tingling or tapping sensation is not evidence of a better result.
    • Follow the supplied manual for placement, timing, frequency of use, and contraindications; stop if the sensation becomes painful or the skin remains irritated.
